Over his 37-year-career at Suncoast, Johnson has served in many roles including Executive Vice-President/Chief Information Officer where he provided organizational leadership for the credit union’s technology and digital strategy.

As an advocate for the credit union industry, Johnson serves on the Boards of Cuna Mutual Group, Members Development Company, and Filene Boards. He previously served on League of Southeastern Credit Unions, Affiliated Consolidated Services, and the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation Boards. Locally, he contributes back to his community through his involvement as a director on the Hillsborough Education Foundation.

A University of Tampa alum, Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in business management.

When Johnson isn’t helping members save more for life, he can be found fishing, hiking and traveling the world.
