Joe’s journey with Visa began nearly eight years ago as an account executive responsible for
managing the company’s relationships with key ecosystem partners that serve financial
institutions of all sizes across the U.S.
In 2020, he relocated to London to launch and lead business development teams in a newly
formed global function focused on driving partnerships with issuer enablers across two of
Visa’s regional businesses: Europe; and CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
Before joining Visa, Joe worked for over a decade at First Data Corporation – a global
payments technology company (acquired by Fiserv in 2019) where he served in senior
management. In addition, he co-led a cross-functional business team that re-defined the
company’s U.S. Go-To-Market strategy in response to a major change in the nation’s
regulatory environment.
Earlier in his career, he managed business development and channel sales for a tech start-
up. Prior to that, he spent a handful of years working in the U.S. government, primarily in
the United States Congress.
Joe and his family reside in the Washington, DC. area.
