Denise Floyd serves as President/CEO of Fort Sill Federal Credit Union. She has worked in the financial industry for over 45 years, the last 38 years with the Credit Union. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma and a graduate designation from Southwest CUNA Management School. ...
Ms. Floyd is actively involved in the Lawton Fort Sill community serving on the Military Affairs Committee and the Commerce Circle of the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce. She is also a past director for the United Way of Lawton Fort Sill and past Chairman of the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce Co-Op Executive Committee.
She serves the education community as President of the Board of the Great Plains Technology Center Foundation. She is a past director of the Cameron University Foundation and a past board member of the Oklahoma Statewide Virtual Charter School Board. Evidencing allegiance to the military and credit union communities, Ms. Floyd is currently a board member of the Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) and Secretary of the DCUC Midwest Sub-Council Board. She currently serves as Chair of the Board for the Armed Forces Financial Network. She is presently a Cornerstone Governmental Affairs Committee Member and an Oklahoma Governmental Affairs Committee Member. Other Association memberships include the Association of United States Army, American Society of Military Comptrollers Great Plains Chapter, and the Field Artillery Association.
Among many, her outstanding awards and achievements include The Honorable Order of Saint Barbara from the U.S. Field Artillery Association, the Political Activist of the Year Award from the Oklahoma Credit Union Political Action Committee, the Lawton Fort Sill Co-Op Volunteer of the Year Award, and named as a Cameron University Acclaimed Aggie.
