Chris Brown

Chris Brown, President & CEO of rateGenius, has over 30 years’ experience in all facets of the automobile industry, and leveraged that experience over 15 years ago when he founded rateGenius. Under his direction, rateGenius has become a leader in the auto refinance industry. Prior to starting RateGenius, Chris attained over 20 years of experience in general and sales management roles with auto dealerships. He also served as VP of Operations and General Manager of Southern Union Econofuels. He was responsible for 27 natural gas refueling stations and two national gas vehicle technology centers (NGVTC). Under Chris’ leadership, these NGVTC centers became the first Ford Motor Company Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) in the country. He is originally from Saginaw, Michigan, and currently resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two sons.
