Alyssa Horwitz is the Marketing and Community Engagement Manager at CUInsight.com, the leading digital trade publication serving credit unions. Alyssa oversees the valued Community of thought leaders and industry experts who write content for the trade publication. She works closely with the Director of Marketing to execute on marketing strategy, ensuring CUInsight and its partners are well-positioned digitally within the credit union space.

Alyssa most recently served as the Director of Marketing & Member Care at Western Connecticut Federal Credit Union in Bethel, CT. She began her credit union career as a teller during college and quickly recognized her passion of helping people and promoting the credit union difference.

As a lifelong learner, after graduating college, Alyssa went on to earn her MBA from Western Connecticut State University. She loves attending marketing events, volunteering at Financial Reality Fairs, and engaging with leaders in the industry who share the same desire to enhance the credit union movement. Alyssa is also a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) and received the Outstanding Credit Union Young Professional award from the Credit Union League of Connecticut in 2021. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys being outdoors, specifically hiking or going to the beach.
