Applications for CUAC, other advisory groups, open July 5
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is accepting applications to its Credit Union Advisory Council and other advisory committees starting Tuesday, July 5. In addition to the CUAC, the CFPB coordinated with its Consumer Advisory Board, Community Bank Advisory Council, and the Academic Research Council.
The CUAC advises the CFPB on regulating consumer financial products or services via the unique perspective of credit unions. It shares information, analysis, and recommendations to better inform our policy development, rulemaking, and engagement work. All of its members represent CUNA member credit unions.
According to the CFPB, it is “inviting applications from individuals who can provide us with insight and advice as we carry out our work.”
