First Capital FCU hosted the Buy Local Coalition’s September Networking Mixer at First Capital FCU’s West York Branch. The tailgating-themed event offered food from Ry Guy’s, cornhole, and gift cards and gift baskets for several lucky winners.
The Buy Local Coalition is a group of locally owned and operated independent businesses in York, Adams, Franklin, Lancaster, Cumberland, and Dauphin Counties. The group’s goal is to educate the public about the benefits of spending money with local businesses as well as to promote businesses working with other local businesses.
“We had a great time networking with other local businesses,” said Lisa Barshinger, Community Engagement Director. “This was our third year hosting the tailgate-themed event and it’s always a lot of fun.”
