Legal powerhouse Elia Diaz-Yaeger named Chief Legal Officer

OnPath Credit Union is proud to announce that legal expert Elia Diaz-Yaeger has joined the executive team as the newly appointed Chief Legal Officer. This move further strengthens an already robust executive leadership team and positions the growing credit union for even greater expansion.

With over 20 years of litigation experience, Elia's primary areas of practice have included commercial litigation, defense, environmental complex litigation, and board governance. She was previously a Shareholder at Lugenbuhl in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Elia has been recognized as a leader in law and in the advancement of DEI. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Arts, as well as a Master of Science degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Elia then went on to earn her law degree at Loyola University School of Law. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Corporate Counsel Association, and was past President of the Hispanic National Bar Association.

Elia previously sat on the Board of Directors for OnPath Federal Credit Union, where she had been guiding the credit union for over 12 years, including roles as Board Secretary and Nominating Committee Chair.
