USC Credit Union celebrates success with The RightWay Foundation: Empowering foster youth through financial literacy

Los Angeles, CA (August 5, 2024) |

USC Credit Union is proud to announce the successful conclusion of a transformative 10-month financial literacy program in partnership with The RightWay Foundation. This collaborative effort aimed at empowering foster youth has yielded remarkable results, culminating in a celebratory finale that highlighted the participants' achievements and growth.

Over the past 10 months, foster youth engaged in a comprehensive series of financial literacy sessions designed to enhance their financial acumen and confidence. These sessions provided a safe and supportive environment for powerful conversations, mentorship, and the establishment of personal financial goals. Each participant received a certificate of completion, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their financial growth journey.

During the final session, participants shared their experiences, showcasing how their newfound knowledge and confidence are helping them achieve their financial goals. The impact of this program is a testament to the power of community collaboration and the commitment to fostering positive change.

"We are thrilled about this partnership between The RightWay Foundation and USC Credit Union, as it marks two years of successful collaboration dedicated to supporting our young adult foster youth with financial empowerment. Together, we have unlocked new opportunities, driven innovation, and are committed to creating a brighter future for these deserving individuals," said Frank Curiel, Business Developer at The RightWay Foundation.
