DuPage Credit Union would like to thank everyone who generously donated to its electronic recycling and shred event. During the 11th annual event, the Credit Union raised $2,500 which will be used to purchase backpacks with essential school supplies.
“We’re delighted with this year’s results and in awe of the generosity we’ve received over the years from the community, our members, and team,” said Amy Brandt, Senior Vice President of Digital, Payments and Learning Transformation.
Since its start, in 2014, the credit union has raised nearly $125,000 through its fundraising campaigns to help local students in need.
Backpacks stuffed with essential school supplies will be handed out through the DuPage Regional Office of Education to students before and throughout the upcoming school year.
