Wescom Credit Union, one of the largest community credit unions in California, hosted a grand opening event last week, in which the local community was invited to attend, to celebrate the opening of its 25th branch in Southern California. Guests enjoyed free food, meet n’ greet activities, and prizes.
The West LA Branch Grand Opening, which took place on April 4th, welcomed approximately 120 guests including members, local residents, Wescom staff, city officials, board members, and Genevieve Riutort, Westside Food Bank’s President & CEO, who was presented with a $750 donation from the Wescom Foundation.
“Wescom’s West Los Angeles Branch, now our 25th branch, is an opportunity to serve new and existing members in this community,” remarked Adriana Welch, Senior Vice President, Branch Operations at Wescom. “We used to have a branch in this area serving Santa Monica and West LA, so today marks a happy homecoming for the Credit Union, especially given our strong ties with UCLA.”
