The Inclusiv Center for Resiliency and Clean Energy and the Center for Impact Finance at the University of New Hampshire’s Carsey School of Public Policy offer a virtual Consumer Solar Lending Professional Training and Certificate program for community-based lending institutions (credit unions, CDFIs, and community banks).
The training is free-of-cost to individuals with more than one year of lending experience who work at community-based lending institutions that would like to offer solar loan products. Each training cohort will acquire the knowledge, skills and practices needed to engage in solar lending, including market assessment, product development, working with solar installers and developers, underwriting and deal structuring, and program and asset management.
We are currently reviewing applications for our February 2024 Consumer Solar Lending cohort:
- Consumer/Residential Solar Lending Training
- Eight instructor-led 90-minute Zoom sessions meet Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:30pm ET (from February 6 - March 26)
- Additional 32 hours of self-paced lectures and assignments over 8 weeks
Don't wait! Seats are filling up fast!
