Demonstrating its commitment to community and youth empowerment, Hughes Federal Credit Union recently took a leap of support for the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. As a proud corporate sponsor, Hughes joined forces with local leaders at the thrilling Over the Edge event, successfully raising over $70,000. This substantial contribution will directly benefit a range of innovative programs aimed at empowering girls.
In an act of solidarity and courage, Hughes Branch Manager Correy Ellis ascended to the summit of one of Tucson’s skyscrapers at 5151 E. Broadway, rappelling down 17 stories. This daring feat was part of a larger effort that saw 69 participants each raise $1,000, showcasing the community's united spirit in fostering educational opportunities for young girls. Through such daring initiatives, Hughes Federal Credit Union continues to strengthen its role as a pivotal supporter of local youth organizations.
