Gerber Federal Credit Union reaches One Billion Dollar milestone

(8/31/2023) In August, Gerber Federal Credit Union (Gerber FCU) reached a milestone having loaned members over One Billion Dollars since 1950.

John P. Buckley, Jr, Gerber FCU President/CEO stated “Our mission is to improve the financial well-being of each member through superior member service and quality products.  Having lent more than $1B since inception is that mission in action.  It is unknown how many homes, cars, vacations, graduations, weddings, debt consolidations, etc. are represented in that $1B figure, but it is not insignificant and is only the first milestone of many more to come!”

Gerber Federal Credit Union was founded in 1950, and today provides financial services to residents and employees of Newaygo County and surrounding townships. We were founded here, and we’re focused on growing here. We have two branches located in Fremont and one branch located in Newaygo. Stop in or visit www.GerberFCU.com to learn why Newaygo County trusts Gerber FCU as their financial partner.
