Raiz Federal Credit Union is proud to announce its partnership with the El Paso Children's Hospital (EPCH) as they release their newest community debit card that provides monetary donations to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The EPCH Spirit Debit Card benefits pediatric patients and supports the hospital's vision of enhancing children's lives throughout El Paso and surrounding regions by providing excellent care, research, and education.
Much like the El Paso Rhino's Spirit Debit Card, having donated over $1,000 to the El Paso Hockey Association within its first year, the EPCH Spirit Debit Card will donate $0.05 to EPCH for every non-pin transaction. In addition to this, Raiz will be matching all donations made over the next three years. As a further incentive and in support of the organization, Raiz has committed to giving a large donation to EPCH if 1,000 cards are opened within the first year.
Max Villaronga, President and CEO of Raiz, shared a few words during the press conference held Friday, October 21,2022, "Today is a day of celebration! As a true partner for the El Paso Children's Hospital and their foundation, we hope to bring aid and resources to these children and their families. The EPCH Spirit Debit Card is an excellent way for anyone in the community to actively give back and support this local non-profit without paying out-of-pocket or making changes to their budget.
