Aggieland Credit Union, the official credit union sponsor of Texas A&M University, celebrated the renovation of its Tower Point branch with a community tailgate party and ribbon cutting.
Nearly 200 people from the community attended the festivities, which included free barbeque, shaved ice, family-friendly games, a cash giveaway, and lots of door prizes.
The Tower Point branch, which originally opened in 2016, underwent a two-month renovation.
The lobby was restyled, digital signage added throughout the branch, and the interior space was redesigned to offer a more nurturing and consultative atmosphere for members who rely on the branch for their banking needs.
The branch has six employees – three of whom are Aggies – and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tina Muth, a 30-year veteran of the credit union, oversees the Tower Point branch along with other branches in the area.
Branch staff can help Aggieland members with everything from basic financial transactions to loan applications for new homes, refinances, auto loans, and insurance needs. The branch also offers financial education and financial planning for future needs and retirement. With a tradition of service for more than 35 years in Bryan/College Station, Aggieland Credit Union is committed to delivering the best banking experience.
“Our branches have always been about people,” said Jason Goodman, COO of Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union. “Our members rely on our branches to be solution centers with a human touch. While the transactions may have changed, the opportunity to interact and connect is still important.”

Nearly 200 people came out to Aggieland Credit Union's Tower Point branch to participate in the ribbon cutting of the newly remodeled branch. The tailgate style event included barbeque, shaved ice, family-friendly games, and door prizes.
