CrossState Credit Union Association has announced the new Executive Director of the CrossState Credit Union Foundation, Susan Ward-Diorio. Sue joins us with an extensive background in fundraising and nonprofit organization management, including as the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank’s Senior Development and Donor Relations Manager, and as the Vice President of Major Gifts and Planned Giving at the United Way of the Capital Region.
“We are pleased to have such a talented and seasoned professional join our team to lead our Foundation,” CrossState President & CEO Patrick Conway said. “Sue’s experience working with charitable organizations will be an asset as we move the Foundation forward.”
The CrossState Credit Union Foundation changes people’s lives by promoting financial education, professional development, disaster relief, and credit union relevance. Some of the ways in which the Foundation aids credit unions and other organizations include by helping small credit unions thrive, promoting community development, low-income designated credit unions that serve the underserved, providing disaster relief grants, and more.
