After 25 years of dedicated volunteer service, including Chair from 2004 to 2006, Thomas Young, President/CEO of Capital Credit Union in Green Bay, WI, has retired from the Corporate Central Credit Union Board of Directors.
“Tom has played an instrumental role on our Board and has helped guide Corporate Central into the successful organization we are today,” said Jay Magulski, current Chair. “We are grateful for the significant contributions he has made and for his outstanding leadership. We wish him the best in his retirement.”
To fill the vacant position, the Corporate Central Board unanimously appointed Chris Allen, President/CEO of Fox Communities Credit Union, based in Appleton, WI. Allen began his career at Fox Communities Credit Union in 2013 as Vice President of Business Services where he managed all business lending at the credit union, and subsequently became the Chief Lending Officer where he was responsible for all the credit union’s lending programs. In 2020, Allen took over as CEO, succeeding 40-year credit union veteran Greg Hilbert to take over the now $2.4 billion credit union. Allen, a Fox Valley native, holds an MBA from Marquette University, and a bachelor’s degree from Ripon College.
“I greatly appreciate the opportunity to support Corporate Central’s mission to help member credit unions achieve success,” said Allen. “Corporate Central has always been a leader in the credit union industry, and I look forward to working with this dedicated team.”
