David Pellegrino, Esq. has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President, General Counsel at Navigant Credit Union, the credit union’s leadership team announced today.
Effective immediately, Pellegrino will manage the full suite of legal, regulatory and compliance responsibility for Navigant Credit Union, as well as continuing to oversee Navigant Credit Union’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program.
Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Pellegrino joined Navigant Credit Union’s Compliance office as Vice President and Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Officer in 2019 with more than a decade of legal experience serving as a partner at Partridge, Snow & Hahn, LLP.
“Since joining our team, Dave has consistently proven to be a key partner with Navigant Credit Union’s leaders, members and business lines,” said Navigant Credit Union President/CEO Gary E. Furtado. “His ability to anticipate issues, evaluate risks and solve complex problems is instrumental to Navigant Credit Union’s success.”
Pellegrino earned his B.S. in Accountancy from American University; his J.D. from the Roger Williams University School of Law; and recently earned a certificate in the FinTech Revolution: Transformative Financial Services and Strategies program offered by The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Pellegrino is an adjunct professor for the University College at Roger Williams University, and volunteers his time as the Board Secretary of Foster Forward; Board President of Common Cause Rhode Island; and Finance Committee member of FirstWorks.
