This National Volunteer Week, we want to take a moment to recognize our Board of Directors: Michael Kloiber (Tinker FCU), Bill Birnie (Frontwave CU), Jack Fallis (Global CU), Maggie Sayer (Keys FCU), Gary Yonamine (Schofield FCU), Denise Floyd (Fort Sill FCU), and Frank Padak (Scott CU). These seven Defense Credit Union CEOs and former CEOs from across the country generously volunteer their time and expertise to make DCUC a better organization.
“I am grateful for the leadership our Board of Directors provides. Since becoming CEO, I enjoy working closely with each of them and as a group and I am constantly impressed by their dedication,” said Anthony Hernandez, DCUC’s President/CEO. “Our volunteer board continually encourages me to pursue new initiatives to provide our member credit unions with more value and better serve our military.”
DCUC’s Board of Directors share a common dedication for not only their credit unions, but our entire nation and military. They dedicate their time and energy to promoting the good of our service members and working to guarantee that they receive sound financial services.
Our current Board has collectively served DCUC for over 50 years and has over 250 years of experience in the financial industry. Their combined expertise and experience have been crucial in leading DCUC through the 2008 financial crisis, a CEO transition, and now, a global pandemic.
“We admire and thank our Board of Directors for their dedication and look forward to seeing many more successful years in the future!” stated Hernandez.
