Synergent is pleased to announce that The County Federal Credit Union has signed a new ten-year outsourcing agreement with Synergent to provide the Symitar ® Episys ® core processing system. The credit union also signed an agreement with Synergent for remote deposit services, card services, share and statement processing, check
printing, and Orpheus digital banking through Access Softek.
In January, The County Federal Credit Union and Penobscot County Federal Credit Union merged following regulatory approvals by the National Credit Union Administration and the Maine Bureau of Financial Institutions. The combined institution now serves nearly 30,000 members and holds over $375 million in assets.

The County Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Presque Isle, Maine, has an Operations Center and four branches in central and southern Aroostook County. Penobscot County Federal Credit Union has three branches in Penobscot County. The credit union will continue using its name, operating as a division of The County Federal Credit Union.
