Scott Credit Union joins national shared branch network

Members can perform SCU transactions at other credit unions

Members of Scott Credit Union now have more than 5,000 locations nationwide at which they can perform their banking transactions.

The credit union, with headquarters in Edwardsville, IL, recently joined the CO-OP Shared Branch Network that allows SCU members to go into any of the participating non-Scott Credit Union branches and perform their normal banking transactions, according to Chief Operating Officer Linda Fedrick.

“Now, members can simply go on our website, search for a participating branch and use it like it is one of our Scott Credit Union branches,” Fedrick explained. “We have members who live across the country, and this will allow them the convenience they need when they need to make a transaction at a branch.”

Scott Credit Union members will be able to make deposits and withdrawals, balance inquiries, transfers, and auto loan payments at the non-SCU branches that are in the CO-OP network, Fedrick added.

“This is really a good option for members who don’t live close to our branches to go in and make their auto loan payment,” she said.

To find non-Scott Credit Union branches that are part of the network, members can visit www.scu.org/locations to use a search tool.
