Fred Salyers was promoted to Vice President of Governmental and Military Affairs for Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU), which was originally founded in 1956 to serve the financial needs of military service members. He also directs all matters pertaining to Security Service’s military membership and the military community. In addition, Salyers serves on NAFCU’s Legislative Committee.
“Governmental and military affairs have laid the foundation for Security Service Federal Credit Union,” said Mike Chapman, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Security Service Federal Credit Union. “Serving the military is why our credit union was established more than 60 years ago, and while our membership base has expanded to those beyond the military, we remain dedicated to caring for the financial futures of our service members. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that Fred Salyers will be overseeing this very important sector of our organization. His experience and dedication will be instrumental as we continue to serve those who have served our country.”
Salyers joined Security Service in 2013 as a Community and Corporate Development Manager and has since held positions as a Senior Manager of Business Development and the Assistant Vice President of Governmental and Military Affairs.
