PSCU has announced that VSECU, headquartered in Montpelier, Vt., has joined the nation’s leading CUSO after an extensive partner evaluation. The credit union, which currently has more than 58,000 members and $654 million in assets, signed a three-year deal with PSCU.
Under the agreement, VSECU will collaborate with PSCU to provide Total Member Care™ call center support to the credit unions’ members. PSCU’s Total Member Care 24/7/365 call centers deliver a comprehensive approach to member support with a top priority of providing exceptional service and enhancing overall member satisfaction.
“VSECU has been impressed by PSCU’s cooperative structure for many years now. The fact that the CUSO is owned and operated by credit unions, just like us, was also a major factor in our decision,” said Rick Hommel, Senior Vice President of Retail Services for VSECU. “As part of our due diligence process, we personally visited PSCU’s call center in Allen Park, Mich., and were impressed by both the infrastructure and high caliber of staff there.”
According to Hommel, VSECU’s partnership with PSCU will enable the credit union to provide shorter wait times for members, along with more meaningful assistance to those members. PSCU will have a connection to VSECU’s core platform that will enable PSCU to service member inquiries and manage staff, all the while maintaining the same high level of service VSECU members have come to expect.
In addition to handling inquiries on a variety of financial services, PSCU’s Total Member Care™ call centers help credit unions communicate effectively with their members about conversions, mergers, EMV upgrades, home banking conversions and regulatory changes. All services are available 24/7/365 to ensure maximum satisfaction and loyalty.
“We recognize that being entrusted with the first point of member interaction is a major responsibility, and one that we take very seriously,” said Chuck Fagan, PSCU CEO and President. “We are confident that PSCU’s call centers will provide an exceptional level of service to VSECU and its members, and we plan on collaborating closely with VSECU to deliver on all of its service excellence commitments.”
PSCU will begin providing call center support for VSECU and its members on Nov.17.
