Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) announces New Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Remote Services

EAST LANSING, MI (June 2, 2014) -- Patrick McPharlin, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MSU Federal Credit Union, is pleased to announce the promotions of Samantha Amburgey to Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Dennis Dorogi to Vice President of Remote Services.

Samantha Amburgey has been with MSUFCU since July 2004, where she previously served as Senior Vice President of Remote Services before being promoted to MSUFCU’s Chief Information Officer. Amburgey has held a variety of positions with the Credit Union, previously serving as an eServices Manager, before becoming the Vice President of eCommerce and eServices, where she was responsible for overseeing these departments. As CIO, Amburgey’s role will expand even further, as she will take the lead in moving MSUFCU forward with the advancing technology of the times. She received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Dennis Dorogi has worked at MSUFCU since September 2008, formerly working as the Assistant Vice President of Remote Services before being promoted to the Vice President of Remote Services. Dorogi has served in a number of different positions within the Credit Union, previously working in eServices, the call center, and branches. In his new role, he will oversee MSUFCU’s eServices and Call Center departments. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics from Eastern Michigan University.
