Credit Union ONE celebrates diamond anniversary

FERNDALE, MI (September 19, 2013) -- Credit Union ONE celebrated its 75th anniversary on Saturday, September 7th with an open house at its corporate offices in Ferndale.

Festivities began with remarks by Board Chairman Paul Stuart and CEO Gary Moody.  Continuing, were unveilings of a historical timeline and a scaled model of the Credit Union ONE Corporate Offices which will serve as a time capsule followed by tours of the building highlighting items from the credit unions’ 75 years of history.

The credit union received many special proclamations from those in attendance and some that were not able to attend.  Proclamations received included:

“Not many organizations have the longevity to be able to celebrate 75 years, and we are very grateful to the community, our Board of Directors and those who have come before us that made us who we are today,” said Gary Moody, Credit Union ONE President and CEO.  “We are excited for the many years ahead of us.”
