NAFCU’s 2013 Seminar Offers the Latest Regulatory Trends Impacting Credit Union Compliance

WASHINGTON, DC (August 9, 2013) -- The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) will offer insight on the latest challenges and changes in credit union rules and regulations at its 2013 Regulatory Compliance Seminar, Oct. 22-25 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.

“Now more than ever, it is vital that credit unions are well-informed about the current regulatory environment and the challenges facing them,” said Steve Van Beek, NAFCU director of regulatory compliance. “This event will provide attendees an opportunity to interact with other credit union professionals and gain valuable information to help their regulatory compliance team face obstacles head-on.”

The seminar’s feature presentation, “What Does Having a Culture of Compliance Mean for Your Credit Union?” will be presented by credit union compliance experts David Reed and Rusty Vellek.
