Affinity Plus Recognized in Star Tribune’s Top Workplaces 2013

Affinity Plus honored as one of the Top Workplaces against WorkplaceDynamics’ national benchmark

ST. PAUL, MN (July 2, 2013) Affinity Plus has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota based on an employee-based survey project from the Star Tribune. Affinity Plus made the list of employers who scored high enough to qualify as a Top Workplace against WorkplaceDynamics national benchmark. Affinity Plus was recognized for this same award in 2012. The Star Tribune Top Workplaces special section was published in the Star Tribune on Sunday, June 16. The report can also be found on the Star Tribune’s Web site.

Produced by the same team that compiles the 22-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions about organizational health, job expectations and employee engagement. The analysis included responses from over 64,300 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.

The results of the Star Tribune Top Workplaces are based on survey information collected by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.

“Every day, our employees work hard for our members and for each other to create an environment that fosters personal and professional growth, and builds a strong community of trust,” states Kyle L. Markland, President and CEO of Affinity Plus. “We’re so proud that our employees have recognized Affinity Plus as a Top Workplace – it’s good to know that they enjoy coming to work every day, and that they believe in our mission to change the world, one person at a time.”

Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”

To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Nearly 1,900 companies were invited to participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.
