Department of Labor and Money One Receive “Crystal Bench” Awards to Recognize their Dedication to Compliance

FREDERICK, MD (June 20, 2013) NeighborBench, a provider of advanced compliance solutions for credit unions, recently recognized two credit unions affiliated with the Maryland and District of Columbia Credit Union Association for their commitment to compliance.

"As a result of implementing NeighborBench, we now utilize a detailed compliance calendar to distribute tasks throughout the year and maintain a disciplined approach to compliance. We can stay focused on our members' needs and wants, while NeighborBench ensures that compliance issues are appropriately identified so we may address them quickly and efficiently," said Debbie Connors, CEO, Money One Federal Credit Union pictured above.

"Based on the recommendation of Neighborbench, Department of Labor FCU added a training spreadsheet to better track the staff and volunteer education.  We also save a copy of any training materials and use a sign in sheet to track attendance at each session," said Joan Moran, CEO, Department of Labor Federal Credit Union.

The Crystal Bench Awards were created to recognize credit unions for demonstrating their commitment to compliance. The firm plans to recognize more credit unions throughout the year.

The Maryland and District of Columbia Credit Union Association (MDDCCUA), the premier regional trade association for credit unions in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia, offers the NeighborBench compliance solution as a service to MDDCCUA member credit unions.
