First Capital FCU Competes in the 37th Youth Ambassador of Pennsylvania Contest!

YORK, PA (May 21, 2013) On May 17, the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association held their 37th annual Youth Ambassador of Pennsylvania Contest at the Hershey Lodge. Fourteen young, enthusiastic credit union employees and members ranging in age from 18 to 25 from around the state competed for the title of “2013 Youth Ambassador.”  Contestants were judged on three things…a written examination, interviews with the judges, and their speech.  Representing the York Chapter of Credit Unions was our very own Member Service Representative, Olivia McClure.  Although Olivia did not win, her performance during the contest made First Capital very proud.

The title of 2013 Credit Union Youth Ambassador of Pennsylvania went to Mike Williams of the Erie Chapter and Widget FCU. First Alternate was Rebecca Frischkorn of the Harrisburg Chapter and AmeriChoice FCU. Second Alternate was Nick Jones of the N.W. Susquehanna Chapter and Service 1st FCU.
