NAFCU’s May 1 Webcast Highlights NCUA’s National Supervision Policy Manual

WASHINGTON, DC - The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) is offering an hour and a half program featuring an overview of the National Credit Union Association’s (NCUA) credit union examination process. The webcast, “NCUA’s Supervision Policy Manual,” will broadcast live on Wednesday, May 1 at 2 p.m. EST, from the association’s headquarters in Arlington, Va.

The program’s speakers are David Reed, a leader in the development of the supervisory manual, and Larry Fazio, director of the NCUA Office of Examination and Insurance. They will discuss the changes, logic and limits of the credit union examination process.

The “NCUA’s Supervision Policy Manual” webcast is designed to educate credit unions about the growing number of regulatory and operational pressures and how this will have an impact on NCUA exams. Other webcast highlights, include:

  • Update on the changes that have been made to the exam process and supervision manual over the last year;
  • How to best navigate your way through the new exam process; and
  • Preparation tips, exam tactics and exam expectations for the coming year.
