GRAND RAPIDS, MI (March 20, 2013) - Key leaders from 11 credit unions gathered today at CU*Answers for a repeat of the popular “CEO School” education event. CEO School is offered every fall as part of “CEO Strategies Week,” but because that session is geared to CEOs only, CU*Answers also offers a follow-up session in the spring called “CEO School: Not for CEOs Only.” Invited are people in key leadership positions building their careers at client credit unions, in some cases second-in-command managers learning the ropes to someday fill the CEO’s shoes.
CEO School gives credit unions a chance to learn about CU*BASE® tools from the perspective of the CU*Answers CEO, Randy Karnes. Karnes approaches it like a day of mentoring and coaching. “I get into the details of how I would use CU*BASE tools if I were running a credit union today, and how a leader can improve his or her grasp of the organization, not only to identify opportunity but also to benefit their own career.”
