Global Credit Union Prepares To Aid Members During Sequestration And Furloughs

SPOKANE, WA –  As concerning news sweeps the nation of US government sequestration and federal employee furloughs, Global Credit Union is prepared to assist members faced with these unfortunate circumstances.

To help members adjust to the loss of income due to furlough, Global plans to support them by providing:

  • interest free loans for up to 6 months
  • no fee loan extensions for existing loans
  • penalty free certificate withdrawals

Global Credit Union, founded in 1954 by members of Fairchild Air Force Base, is eager to help provide relief to people affected by this financial crisis. “Our roots run deep with our military members.  If they do experience furloughs, we want to give them time and assistance to adjust.  We’ve always been here for our members and we are here now to help them through if they need us,” said Global President and CEO Jack Fallis.
