CUES Supports Filene through Silver Benefactor Membership

MADISON, WI - The Credit Union Executives Society is continuing its Silver Benefactor Membership in the Filene Research Institute with a $25,000 donation to the organization. Since 2001, CUES has contributed a total of $311,500 to Filene.

“This is the ninth year in a row CUES has made this membership donation,” said Chuck Fagan, CUES’ president/CEO. “I’m pleased to carry on the tradition of supporting Filene. The insights and innovations they provide play a vital role in the success of the credit union industry. Their mission of offering research on issues affecting the future of consumer finance and credit unions fits right in with CUES’ own mission of educating credit union leaders and future leaders.”

Fagan sits on the Filene Research Council, a group of credit union leaders who individually and collectively play integral roles in the continued advancement of the credit union movement.
