ABERDEEN, MD (February 26, 2013)— In February, APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) honored Barbara Poff, senior member service operation specialist, with an award presentation for 25 years of dedicated service to the credit union.
In 1988, Ms. Poff was hired as a teller at APGFCU’s Aberdeen Proving Ground Branch and was later promoted to member service representative. Since then, Ms. Poff has held positions as member service center supervisor and assistant branch manager. In her current role as senior member service operation specialist, Ms. Poff is responsible for servicing member inquiries, auditing branches for quality control, and collecting information and forms for loan disbursals. She lives in Abingdon, Maryland.
As one of the largest employers in Harford County, APGFCU has 290 employees, 68 percent of whom live in Harford County and 17 percent in Cecil County. The credit union encourages the professional advancement of its employees and promotes from within.
