NEW YORK, NY - Municipal Credit Union (MCU) will continue its sponsorship of the St. John’s University Advantage Academy for the second year. The St. John's University Advantage Academy is a partnership between St. John’s University and the New York City Department of Homeless Services that enables qualified individuals, including homeless and formerly homeless, and single parent families to gain the skills and confidence to break the cycle of poverty through education, counseling and social support services. As part of its continued sponsorship, MCU made a $5,000 donation to the Advantage Academy during the St. John’s men’s basketball game on February 20th.
