American 1 CU Raises more than $700 for Allegiance Hospice through Chocolate Sales

JACKSON, MI – American 1 Credit Union is dedicated to the communities they serve and feel strongly about giving back.  During the first few weeks of February, American 1 Credit Union sold boxes of Gilbert's Chocolates to help raise money for the Allegiance Hospice Program.

Six of American 1’s twelve branches had chocolates for sale.  All together $735 worth of chocolate was sold, and all proceeds were turned over to Allegiance Hospice.  There were three types of chocolates available, milk chocolate for $5, dark chocolate for $5, and caramel chocolates for $10.
