Golden 1 Collects More Than 500 Pairs of Pajamas for Underprivileged Children

Paso Robles, CA (February 4, 2013) - On December 22, 2012, employees and members of the Golden 1 Paso Robles Branch teamed up to collect more than 500 pairs of pajamas during country music radio station K-JUG’s annual “DJs for PJs” drive.

The new pajamas were donated to the Central Coast Funds for Children, which distributed the much-needed pajamas to nine different agencies throughout San Luis Obispo County.

“Our team enjoys giving back to the community whenever possible,” said Golden 1 Paso Robles Branch Sales Manager Nancy Garza. “We are thrilled to be able to provide warm and colorful sleepwear for children.”

DJs for PJs® is a nonprofit organization that donates new pajamas to children in need. Founded in 2003, the organization has grown to provide sleepwear to children throughout the country.
