Indianapolis, Indiana, January 25, 2013- FORUM Credit Union has kicked off the new season of its SaveItUp program. SaveItUp, which started in 2009, was created to encourage better saving and spending habits and to promote financial wellness.
This year’s participants have the opportunity to win more than $2,000 in quarterly and annual prizes based on the amount of financial steps they complete during the season. FORUM has outlined 20 steps in the 2013 Official Playbook that participants have the chance to complete. These steps include actions such as contributing funds to a special savings account, attending a financial seminar, reducing total debt, and more. Participants can also receive free financial coaching from a FORUM Representative. Those enrolled can keep track of their progress with the SaveItUp Playbook as they complete steps and work towards their financial goals.
The SaveItUp program will last through November. In addition to offering the SaveItUp program, FORUM will also be offering Financial Peace University (FPU) classes again this year. This program, which was created by money management expert Dave Ramsey, teaches people how to make the right decisions with their money. More information regarding SaveItUp and FPU is available at www.forumcu.com/saveitup.
