Associated Credit Union Foundation Delivers over 600 Toys for Children in Metro Atlanta

ATLANTA - The Associated Credit Union Foundation donated hundreds of presents to the Quinn House, Operation HomeFront Georgia and Norcross Co-op Ministry, fulfilling the gift wishes of over 600 children through its Fifth Annual Making Caring Count for Christmas Program.

The children’s gift wishes were displayed on paper ornaments in twenty-five of Associated CU’s Metro Atlanta offices. Credit union members and employees purchased the presents and in many cases, bought two or three extra gifts for each child to open on Christmas morning.

“This year has been the Quinn House’s most successful Christmas program yet!  We’ve been so blessed to be able to help children and families we never imagined being able to reach. It’s a blessing to have a partner like the Associated Credit Union Foundation who can help us reach deeper into the community,” said Pat Travis, manager of the Quinn House Christmas program.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car donated a 15 ft. truck to the Associated Credit Union Foundation on delivery day to transport the overflowing amount of gifts.

The Associated Credit Union Foundation, which began in 2009, is a 501(c)3 organization that strives to promote the social and economic well-being for the community and the employees of companies served by Associated Credit Union.
