Notre Dame Federal Credit Union Saves Members One Million Dollars

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union pledged in its Million Dollar Savings Challenge at the start of 2012 to save members one million dollars in loan interest by year’s end. Total savings in loan interest reached $1,000,000 on December 6.

During the Million Dollar Savings Challenge, Notre Dame Federal Credit Union saved their members 2% or more on any existing non-NDFCU loans or the applicants would walk away with $25. Television commercials for the Million Dollar Savings Challenge featured stories from real members who saved money on loan interest with Notre Dame FCU and how their personal financial situations were improved as a result.

“This effort has helped people refinance their loans and reduce monthly payments, giving them peace of mind, and getting them closer to financial security. Phenomenal stories have surfaced about how the Notre Dame FCU family has helped better many individuals’ financial situations,” said Notre Dame FCU President and CEO Thomas J. Gryp.
