(LAKE JACKSON, TX) — For the 15th consecutive year, TDECU has awarded scholarships totaling $25,000 to Texas students in recognition of their academic performance, leadership skills, and those entering college for the first time. The TDECU Scholarship Program awarded 25 of their student Members with a $1,000 each, which will go toward costs associated with attending college, university or trade school.
“We are extremely proud of all of this year’s scholarship winners and congratulate them for their achievements,” said Stephanie Sherrodd, TDECU President and CEO. “We wish all of our college-bound Members much success.”
TDECU Board Member Peggy Miltenberger, who serves on the board’s scholarship committee added, “Ensuring a bright future for our young members is important to us at TDECU. We look forward to watching them prosper and accomplish a great many things.”
