CU*Answers Converts Newest CU*BASE® Client

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – November 13, 2012 - CU*Answers, the West Michigan-based core data processor, announced that it had completed converting the Detour Drummond Community Credit Union (Drummond Island, MI), effective October 1st to its CU*BASE processing platform.

A CU*Answers spokesperson said the credit union had deployed the CU*BASE SaaS processing solution, including a wide array of member self-service features. Several of these will include the It’s Me 247 Online Banking system, e-statements, alerts and notices, Mobile Web and Mobile Text Banking, Electronic Bill Pay, and more. CU*Answers added the client had also implemented its CU*Spy Vault solution for providing an inexpensive, tightly controlled online e-document management strategy, which is fully hosted, supported and managed by CU*Answers.

CU*Answers said Detour Drummond Community Credit Union represents approximately 2,500 members and $31 million in assets. It added that this credit union represents its first new client conversion to CU*BASE for its 2013 fiscal year, which started effective October 1. It added that during its just completed 2012 fiscal, it had converted 11 new credit unions to CU*BASE, plus 8 incoming credit union mergers, representing a grand total of nearly 140 thousand new members converted to CU*BASE.
