Sellwood branch manager Kevin Kelly presents check for $1000
PORTLAND, Ore., November 15, 2012—OnPoint Community Credit Union, the largest credit union in Oregon, has announced a $1000 donation to the Sellwood-Moreland Library through the Multnomah County Library Foundation. The donation was made to celebrate the opening of OnPoint’s newest branch in the Sellwood neighborhood.
The Sellwood branch, located at 8085 SE 13th Ave., Portland, opened September 10, 2012. The Sellwood-Moreland Library first began as a reading room in 1905 and has been serving Southeast Portland in the current location, 7860 SE 13th Ave., Portland, since 2002.
“With this new Sellwood branch we are not only giving members’ better access to their credit union, we are joining a vibrant community,” said OnPoint’s President and CEO Rob Stuart. “Our donation to the Sellwood-Moreland library is one way to show we’re pleased to be part of it.”
