Dublin, CA. – (November 15, 2012) – KeyPoint Credit Union presented a check in the amount of $710 to Dublin Partners in Education (DPIE) during its annual Celebrity Waiter fundraiser event on October 26, 2012. The event was attended by over two hundred business and community leaders. The money donated was generated through a Kids’ Savings Account campaign that KeyPoint Credit Union created with the idea of helping Dublin Schools.
During the months of January – May 2012, KeyPoint Credit Union donated $10 to DPIE for every new Kids’ Savings Account opened at their Dublin, CA branch. In addition, each of the 71 children that opened accounts during this campaign received a $10 Target gift card, as well as, a savings bank to help reinforce the “Save, Share and Spend” model that KeyPoint Credit Union instills in their young members.
