Auburn Hills, MI, November 13, 2012 – Genisys Credit Union recently sponsored Pumpkin Palooza in downtownPlymouth on October 21, 2012.
Activities, games, food, entertainment and contests were enjoyed by over 1,000 children who attended. Kids got to play pumpkin bowling, snowball toss, golf ball toss, washer toss, pumpkin bocce and have sack and ghost waiter races.
Children and their families were also able to take advantage of all the fun activities at Pumpkin Palooza including the haunted alley sponsored by Genisys. Other activities included pumpkin decorating, sidewalk chalk drawings and a thumbprint magnet creation station.
“Bringing fun and delight to the children of the community is extremely gratifying,” said Jackie Buchanan, President/CEO. “If the kids enjoy the event, then we’ve done our job.”
Kids got to show off their fun and spooky sides in the age-based costume contests. Even the pets were able to participate in their own costume contest.
“As a sponsor and participant of this event, it was very rewarding to see all of the costumes and the enjoyment on the children’s faces as well as assist the community in making this year’s Pumpkin Palooza a success,” said Christine Schulz, Plymouth Branch Manager.
