America First Credit Union Donates to American Red Cross Relief Efforts of Hurricane Sandy

RIVERDALE, UT—November 8, 2012—America First Credit Union announced today its donation of $3,500 to the American Red Cross’ relief efforts following the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy.

The contribution comes as the assessment of the death toll and damage estimate continue to rise and government officials and disaster relief personnel, volunteers, and the Red Cross are increasing their massive relief efforts.

“When disasters of this magnitude occur, whether in our service area or not, we want to help with what we can financially and through our volunteer service programs,” said John Lund, America First President and CEO. “We thank our members for the opportunity to provide this donation and also encourage them, our business friends, and the public to donate to the relief efforts of Hurricane Sandy.”
