Auburn Hills, MI, October 31, 2012 – Genisys Credit Union sponsored the Halloween Tricks-N-Treats event on October 20, 2012, at the Chesterfield Township Offices.
The event, a popular, family-friendly celebration featured a Fire & Ice show by Mad Science, trick-or-treating and a Halloween craft for all ages.
“A most festive event, the treat trail has 10 stations with quality candy and gifts providing a safe environment for youngsters to go trick-or-treating,” said Amanda Willard, Chesterfield Township Parks & Recreation Programmer. “A simple craft project tapped into the kids’ creativity and the hour-long event culminated with a 30 minute eye-popping Fire & Ice show making science entertaining. It was a great way to celebrate the season!”
Around 150 people attended the Halloween event. Kids completed a create-your-own seasonal picture frame to display their favorite Halloween photo. Pumpkin carvings by local children and adults were on display and awarded prizes. Pictures with Scooby Doo and Scary Skeleton were also a big hit.
“It’s fun to see children participate in holiday events like Halloween Tricks-N-Treats,” said Jackie Buchanan, President/CEO. “It’s a great way for families to create memories to last a lifetime.”
This is just one of the many events that Genisys sponsors in the Chesterfield Township community throughout the year.
