(Des Moines, Iowa – October 24, 2012) – To further educate attendees of the Social: Mobile: Payments Conference on the intelligence-gathering power of data analysis, IQR Consulting’s Karan Bhalla – who leads data analysis projects for credit unions – will take part in a special panel discussion at the Nov. 6 – 8 conference in Miami.
The session, “Monetizing Big Data In The Social Mobile Age," will capture insight from four industry panelists on how merchants, financial institutions and others can use Big Data to increase revenue and retention. Bhalla will join John Reed of First Data, Carlos Cunha of Redecard and Robert Woodard of Acxiom on the panel.
Moderated by Paybefore Editor-in-Chief Loraine DeBonis, the session aims to answer the following questions among others:
- Where do financial institutions and merchants start?
- What technology and analysis services should they invest in?
- How are mobile and social media trends affecting Big Data collection and the use of targeted offers?
“Karan’s ongoing work with credit unions and their card portfolios will provide an important perspective for our session’s attendees,” said DeBonis. “I’m particularly intrigued to learn what data analysis can tell us and how resulting decisions can affect things like interchange income and more tailored product offers for cardholders.”
Under Bhalla’s leadership, IQR Consulting recently worked with numerous credit unions to review card portfolio performance and make actionable recommendations for portfolio growth based his team’s data analysis findings.
