Telhio Credit Union executives featured in the 2025 Class of Extraordinary Women by Mahogany Columbus Magazine

COLUMBUS, OH (April 23, 2025) |

Telhio Credit Union is celebrating two of its executive leaders, Aisha Allen, Chief Human Resource Officer, and Jessica Bing, Chief Operations Officer, for prestigious recognition by Mahogany Columbus Magazine as Central Ohio’s 2025 Class of Extraordinary Women.

Mahogany Columbus Magazine held a release event of the April Issue on Tuesday, April 22, at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI). More than 100 community members attended to honor the remarkable achievements and contributions of Aisha, Jessica, and other featured women trailblazers in their respective industries. This recognition comes on the heels of Derrick Bailey, Telhio CEO, being recognized as one of Central Ohio’s Most Influential Men in the August 2024 edition of Mahogany Magazine.

Jessica’s extensive experience of 18+ years in the banking industry has refined her strategic vision and operational excellence at Telhio, where her aim is to enhance efficiency and improve member satisfaction. She oversees multiple departments and plays a crucial role in shaping the credit union’s future, helping the organization grow to over a billion dollars in assets. Her journey from bank teller to executive was marked by continuous learning, hard work, and a commitment to excellence.

“It’s an honor to be named alongside such powerful visionaries and leaders,” said Jessica Bing, Chief Operations Officer at Telhio. “Telhio is intertwined in my journey as a woman in business, and I’m grateful for the opportunities and growth that have led me to this point in my career.”

Aisha’s professional journey encompasses a wide array of disciplines, such as organizational development, executive coaching, human resources management, talent management, business process consulting, and program management. Following her onboarding at Telhio in October 2023, Aisha assumed the additional position of Chief of Staff to the CEO, Derrick Bailey. Her role largely focuses on project management and operational procedures within Telhio to support business retention and growth, alongside employee recruitment, talent management, performance management, and culture.

“As a female executive and professional, there are few greater achievements than to be recognized as a Women of Influence,” said Aisha Allen, Chief Human Resources Officer at Telhio. “My professional goal has always been to lead in an organization that is also making a community impact, and Telhio has contributed considerably to that goal.”

Mahogany Columbus Magazine is a publication dedicated to highlighting the inspiring stories of executives of color. Since its launch in January 2023, the publication’s mission has been to showcase the success and passions of individuals across Central Ohio.
